Summer Fun Begins

My kids started Vacation Bible school this week.   High Seas Expedition is the name of the theme.  So far my son seems to like everything.   He was so excited yesterday because he learned about Peter .  How God came to rescue him and another apostle when they were in jail.

My daughter's first day was today, because she had a doctors appointment yesterday.  Over the weekend, she was not feeling good.  Had sore throat and lack of appetite. 

Yesterday morning she woke up with a rash on her cheeks and her lips red and swollen.  So I called the advice nurse, and was told to bring her in to see what was going on.  Test were done but, was told the results will not be in until the next day. 

Today, she feels much better.  The rash on her face disappeared and no more sore throat.  Still she needs to take medication for a throat infection for 10 days.  And she started that today.  The Doctor said she could resume normal activities as soon as she feels better. 

I thank God that she is feeling much better today.  The rash is gone and she was able to eat breakfast this morning without complains.
