After so much waiting and not much planning ahead. I got some items together, prized them and set up in front of my home. Placed a few signs on adjacent street corner and waited, waited, and waited.
Only my in-laws came over and my niece bought my daughter some Brat dolls to take to some children in Mexico. In all daughter made $13.65.
After that sale, more waiting. But no one else showed up. Very dissapointed. Was out there from 9 AM till 3PM.
Here are a few of the items we had for sale.
We also had book, dvds, toys, costumes, shoes, a small coffee table and a toy chest.
By the way, I just rembember I made $1, sold a cosmetics bag.
I believe the problem is the location of my home. And the fact that I was not able to post on any of the main cross streets were most of the poeple travel on towards an near Target, and shopping area. My signs were not very good or visible to those people.
I texted all my friends to let them know, and for them to invite people to come but that did not work either.
I'm going to give it a second try just before school starts again. Hoping this time it works, but if not all this items are going to be donated to our nearest thrift shop.

Changes in Living room
We purchased a new flat screen TV. And in order to accomodate it,
I had to re-arrange furniture,
and move our home shrine to another part of the living room.
I brought down a bookshelf from the attic to place a few family pictures and some of our favorite Saint icons. The bottom shelf hold dvds, in nice boxes purchased at Ikea ( a few years ago). In the corner, I have another 3 tier shelf, from Home Interiors. This one I got as hostess gift, about 8 years ago.
The room looks red, because of the window drapes. They are red, to match the sofa cover.
The Attic is being organized this week. I bought two more bookshelfves at Target. On sale for $15 each. I am going to put up all the books I had in boxes. Organize the crafts and sewing area. And finally hoping to have that yard sale this weekend! To get rid of all the extra stuff.

Precious Blood of Jesus Rosary
For two weeks now, I have been praying the rosary to the Precious Blood of Jesus. It is a little different from the traditional rosary. But I feel it has helped me in many ways this past two week.
Today I was a little more calmer, despite the fact that my children were distracting me a little while I was listening to the rosary on youtube. A few days before, I will had snapped and turn into a yelling Mom, getting their attention. LOL.
I hope my children stay quieter when I pray the rosary, they know they should have respect and if possible pray along with me. But somehow, they forget and don't realize how distracting this is for me.
I could wait to pray when they are off to school, but I want to do this first thing in the morning, before the start of my day. It's better so that I do not forget to spend this time in prayer as the day goes by.
I have been reading a booklet about the rosary and how it is a powerful intercession weapon. The booklet is called, The Secret of the Rosary. Author, Saint Louis De Montfort.
I will try to at least, say the regular rosary every day once. And for this month, also recite the chaplet of the Precious blood of Jesus, every day.
In my previous post, I linked to a blog where you can find a beautiful prayer to the Precious Blood of Jesus.
Since I began this blog, I came to meet other Catholic blogers who share their devotions. I have learned many interesting facts of the Catholic faith, I have learned new prayers, and new devotions. All of them very beautiful and full of great faith.
Hope you all have been having a great Summer. Have a very blessed day.

I'm still here, busy!
Summer has been great! So far!
My kids are having fun. Marah took a glass and metal art class for a week. And is now attending a Math summer class, all month of July, with fun field trips on Fridays.
Julian, has been taking swimming lessons. This is his last day, for level 1. He already jumped into pool, @ 5 and 7 feet deep. And yesterday he jumped from board into pool. And instructor was ready to catch him, as soon as he fell into the pool.
My house was invaded by ants, so I have been busy trying to elimanate them. Cleaning everything immidiately to avoid any new colonies. My biggest nightmare!
Yard Sale has not yet taken place. I was hoping to do this tomorrow. Not sure yet if I will.
I had my eyebrows done last week, thread style. The person uses two floss threads and plucks them out, a little pain, but much better than waxing.
A relic of St. Toribio a Mexican martyr came to visit the Oakland Diocese. We missed it at the Cathedral but managed to attend a parish in Berkeley.
This month we dedicate it to the Precious Blood of Jesus. In the prayer group we have been praying the rosary to the Precious Blood of Jesus. I will be praying to at home everyday for special petitions.
