1st Family Reunion

A few weeks ago we celebrated "Dad's " 71st birthday.

For those of you who don't know much about me.  My parents divorced when I was very young and Mom remarry  to an amazing man, I call "Dad".

Dad was a divorced man himself.  He has two sons and two daughters from his previous marriage. My parents have been married now for 30 years.  Wow! We are now a very large happy family.  We've had our ups and downs like any normal family. Here is our first family reunion.

The almost entire family.
A few were missing from picture but in our hearts they were present.
My older brother Brijido and younger brother Ernie were not able to join us for this event.

This are all the 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Here is my family.
Husband, Me, Marah, Parents, and Julian.

Maximize your Mornings

Good Morning!

I'm enthusiastic about this new way I will be starting my mornings each day.  I have sign up over at

Christian Community

Hello Mornings is a fun interactive way to start your day with an online community of woman who will be you accountability partners in this summer challenge.
I'm still learning about the challenge.  But you can lean all the details over at the blog.  And if you want to be part of the group I have joined.  Look for Adrienne Austell's group. The groups have been set by time zone. Just in case you prefer a group within your own time zone. Since I live in the near SF, CA, I joined a Facebook group in the pacific time zone.
You can also join groups through Twitter.
Visit the Hello Mornings  Blog to learn more about the challenge.
Have a very blessed day!

Inspired to Write

I always say that God has a time for everything.  I started this blog at a time that I needed to have a something to do with my extra time.  After a few years, I found other social networks that took up the place of the blogs I was following.

Later I found a new passion.  Exercise.  I began a transformation in my life.  Losing 10 pounds made such a great difference in my over all health and life.  I met amazing ladies that were also pursuing their own goals.

But God is calling me back to this blog.  Through my Facebook feed, I noticed a post by (in)courage regarding a webcast.  I click on the link and discovered that there are many women, forming small communities to share and talk about their walk with Christ.

I have a small group of Spanish speaking woman from my parish community.  We gather each week to read the gospel and share with each other what God is doing in our life.  We have stayed strong now for almost two years.  But I feel like God is calling me to reach out to other women who don't speak Spanish.

I'm learning so much from the (in)courage groups.

Do you have a gather in community with other believers?  Let me know how that experience has touched your life. Thank you for continuing to show interest in my blog.  I pray to God that I will continue to post often and build up a community of new friends through this blog.  God bless you.
